Dr. Mateen Jiwani

Mateen graduated from St George’s Medical School, London. His interests include community health programmes, emergency medicine, medical devices and technology. He has been practising for over 17 years with a history for serving during the Grenfell Tower Fire and the 2011 England Riots. He has long been interested in Technological advancement for safety. Mateen also has a keen interest in Mental Health, completing a Masters Level Advanced Diploma in this field. He is an accomplished clinical trainer and is a tutor at St George’s Medical School.

 

Has held a number of Medical Directorship roles in healthcare. With a background in primary care, Mateen has worked in leadership for Technological transformation in Acute, secondary, and Primary care. Mateen is an Executive Medical Advisor for the NHS, Universities such as Imperial College and Harvard (Surgical Leadership and Innovation).

 

He is an honorary lecturer in primary care, public health, Telemedicine and Digital health at Imperial College, London where he regularly speaks on Masters level programmes for Telemedicine and Medical Tech implementation. Mateen was a Chair of a faculty at RCGP London. Mateen co-founded Digital Startup which he exited successfully in 2019 and now advises several health tech and investment companies about the next success story for patient benefit. He has been appointed to the Health Board at BT Plc and is a Cyber Executive Leader in the NHS.​
