Dr. Sandeep Bansal
Sandeep is an ex-NHS doctor whose interests in healthcare systems took him to India to study medicine and work in one of the busiest government hospitals in the country. He practiced clinically for 6 years in the NHS including GP training in Oxford deanery. He completed a PGDip in paediatrics from Imperial College and also an Executive MBA.
He left clinical medicine to innovate. He founded a company which was mentioned by Matt Hancock in his opening speech and changed government policy to remove pagers/faxes in the NHS and partnered with BT and Samsung raising over £3.5 mil in capital. He ran a start-up focused on preventative healthcare in India and built to over 100k downloads. He sits on the clinical board of BT (healthcare) and has previously taught at Bart’s X and Imperial College on innovation.

Before medicine and to present day He has over 20 years experience in social care and nursing homes having been instrumental in turning around over 10 nursing homes that were failing through clinical, operational and technological change. He has led over $120mil commercial real estate transactions in care and hospitality. His current social care and hospitality portfolio is valued at $71 million and he is presently creating a private equity fund to cut across the intersection of health, social care, hospitality and digital health.
